Job description

The Radio Integration Engineer will be a key member of the wireless RFIC team, responsible for architecting, implementing, and verifying analog megacells for integration into complex wireless SoCs. This role involves collaborating with product development groups to innovate and enhance wireless technologies that improve user experiences. The engineer will work on integrating next-generation wireless SoCs into Apple products, pushing the boundaries of wireless systems. A strong background in RF and mixed-signal circuit design is essential for success in this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience with integration flows and challenges in analog circuits.
  • Direct tape out experience with wireless receivers, transmitters, and other related blocks.
  • Familiarity with timing analysis of analog to digital interfaces and STA tools.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, implement, and verify all facets of the full analog megacell.
  • Collaborate with the SoC team to deliver integrated designs for production.
  • Work on the integration of next-generation wireless SoCs.
  • Utilize digital tools for RTL, FE-STA, PnR, and PTPX flows.
  • Employ modeling, coding, and design verification methodologies.
