Job description
The Radio Integration Engineer will be a key member of the wireless RFIC team, responsible for architecting, implementing, and verifying analog megacells for integration into complex wireless SoCs. This role involves collaborating with various product development groups at Apple to innovate and enhance wireless technologies. The engineer will work on integrating state-of-the-art wireless SoCs that will be used in millions of Apple products. A strong background in RF and mixed signal circuit design is essential for success in this position.
Requirements
- BS degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
- MSEE with relevant industry experience in RF and mixed signal circuit design in advanced CMOS technology nodes.
- Familiarity with integration flows and challenges in analog circuits following digital-on-top flow.
- Direct tape out experience with wireless receivers, ADCs, transmitters, DACs, PLLs, and custom digital circuits.
- Experience in timing analysis of analog to digital interfaces and familiarity with STA tools like Nanotime and Primetime.
- Working knowledge of digital tools for RTL, FE-STA, PnR, and PTPX flows.
- Experience with modeling, coding, and design verification flow tools and methodologies such as Verilog, Verilog-AMS, MATLAB, and Python.
Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and verify all facets of the full analog megacell for production.
- Collaborate with the SoC team to deliver integrated designs.
- Work on the integration of next-generation wireless SoCs into Apple products.
- Push the boundaries of wireless systems through innovative design and collaboration.
- Ensure the transformation of user experience at the product level through wireless silicon development.
