Job description

This role involves driving the future of Apple's products and applications by engineering efficient and scalable data pipelines. The team focuses on enhancing iCloud's data infrastructure to improve user experience across various applications. Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience working with Spark and other distributed data technologies such as Hadoop, Presto, Flink, or Druid.
  • Highly proficient in at least one of Java, Python, or Scala.
  • Deep expertise in Data Principles, Data Architecture, and Data Modeling.
  • Strong SQL skills and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Conceptually familiar with AWS cloud resources like S3, EC2, and RDS.
  • MS or BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent practical experience.
