The On-Device Machine Learning team at Apple is seeking an ML Infrastructure Engineer focused on graph compilers and runtimes. This role involves building advanced ML graph compilation and runtime systems to optimize and deliver machine learning models efficiently on Apple products. The team operates at the intersection of research, software engineering, and product development, contributing to Apple's machine learning workflows across various applications. Candidates should be passionate about the technical challenges of running sophisticated ML models on resource-constrained devices.

• Masters or equivalent experience in Computer Sciences, Engineering, or a related subject area.
• Highly proficient in C++ or Swift, with familiarity in Python.
• Experience with any compiler stack such as MLIR, LLVM, or TVM.
• Familiarity with Operating Systems, embedding programming, and parallel programming.
• Sound understanding of machine learning fundamentals, including common architectures such as Transformers.
• Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate with multi-functional audiences.
• Experience with any on-device ML stack, such as TFLite, ONNX, or ExecuTorch.
• Experience with any ML authoring framework like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX is a strong plus.
• Experience with accelerators and GPU programming is a strong plus.
