Job description

Apple's SoC Silicon Validation Team is seeking an engineer with expertise in silicon architecture and design to enhance silicon debug tooling. The role focuses on building tools for automated extraction of design features and data analysis to facilitate rapid debugging. The engineer will work closely with the debug community to ensure they have the best tools available. Collaboration with globally positioned teams is essential for success in this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience
  • Experience with SOC architecture and micro-architecture
  • Experience driving silicon tool development
  • Experience leveraging AI in daily workflows
  • Strong problem solving and cross-functional skills
  • Proficiency in C, Python, and SystemVerilog
  • Experience with DFX
  • Experience with databases

Responsibilities

  • Build silicon debug tools focusing on automated extraction of design features.
