Job description

The role is part of Apple's Hardware Reliability Engineering team, focusing on ensuring the durability and reliability of softgoods accessories like phone cases and watch bands. The team collaborates with various engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle, from concept to field returns. The position involves developing and implementing reliability tests, quantifying risks, and advising on corrective actions. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a hardware-focused field such as Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 3 years of industry experience in product characterization and reliability testing.
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in iWork and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Statistical experience with tools like Weibull and JMP.
  • Familiarity with Failure Analysis techniques and methodologies.
  • Understanding of Design of Experiments.
  • Strong attention to detail and curiosity about technology.
  • Ability to travel internationally without restrictions.

Responsibilities
