Job description
The RFIC Layout Designer will be a vital member of the Wireless SoC Radio Team, focusing on the design and layout of custom RF and analog IP for complex SoC products. This team is dedicated to creating highly energy-efficient CMOS radios and transforming user experiences through innovative technologies. The role involves working closely with the RFIC design team to ensure high-quality layouts that meet advanced production standards. The designer will have a significant impact on the development of state-of-the-art radios for a wide range of products.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of related experience is required.
- Experience in custom RF/analog layout for radio transceivers is essential.
- Extensive knowledge of deep sub-micron CMOS technology is necessary.
- High proficiency in interpreting CALIBRE DRC, ERC, and LVS in FinFET technology is required.
- Familiarity with Cadence layout tools is needed.
- Knowledge of layout techniques for device matching, minimizing parasitics, RF shielding, and high frequency routing is important.
- A solid understanding of RC delay, electromigration, and coupling is required.
- Understanding of guard rings, DNW, PN junctions, and advanced process effects such as LOD and WPE is necessary.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams are essential.
- Scripting skills in PERL or SKILL are required.

- Collaborate with the RFIC design team to develop next-generation wireless technologies.
