The Audio team within Apple's Vision Products Group is looking for a Senior Audio Software Engineer to advance the capabilities of Spatial Audio for the Apple Vision Pro. This role involves defining and developing audio architectures while collaborating across various teams at Apple. The engineer will also mentor team members and contribute to building future leaders in the field. A strong focus on innovation and quality is essential to enhance the user experience in spatial computing.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a similar field.
- A minimum of 8 years of industry experience.
- Deep knowledge of C/C++ and Design Patterns that scale.
- Proven focus on Test Driven Development and quality documentation.
- Experience working in Audio Architectures and common Digital Signal Processing for audio.
- Understanding of software optimization tools and techniques.
- Experience in the Apple developer ecosystem, including Objective-C, Swift, and Xcode.
- Proven track record of technical leadership.
- AudioUnit plugin development experience.
- Embedded software experience.
