JobsGen AI Software Engineer
Job description
The Gen AI Software Engineer will join Apple's Silicon Technologies group to design and build generative AI systems and workflows. This role focuses on creating AI-driven solutions that address complex business challenges and enhance the efficiency of Apple's products and services. The engineer will collaborate with multi-functional teams and the AIML organization to develop appropriate AI solutions. A strong emphasis will be placed on crafting technology that supports Apple's devices and drives innovation.
Requirements
- Minimum requirement of a BS degree and 10 years of relevant industry experience.
- Python programming experience.
- Experience building generative AI applications using LLMs and vector databases.
- Knowledge of current Gen AI research and techniques in areas such as RAG systems, Agentic AI, or Prompt Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with agentic AI frameworks like LangGraph, AutoGen, or CrewAI.
- Familiarity with integrating Model Context Protocol (MCP) into AI workflows.
- Experience building evaluation frameworks for AI systems.
- Experience in designing and implementing information retrieval systems using embeddings or vector stores.
- Designed and optimized RESTful services.
- Comfortable working within Linux/Unix environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement generative AI systems including multi-agent workflows and tool calling architectures.
- Build agentic AI solutions that coordinate multiple AI services and tools.
- Collaborate with internal multi-functional teams to understand domain-specific needs.
- Enable the organization to leverage AI capabilities and drive efficiency in chip delivery.
