Job description
The Senior Business Systems Analyst will play a critical role in optimizing financial operations within Apple's Infrastructure Services team. This position focuses on leading the capital planning process, driving cost optimization programs, and enhancing operational tooling. The analyst will translate complex insights into strategic recommendations that influence operational excellence and organizational strategy. The role requires strong analytical skills and effective communication to support both tactical and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- BS in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Operations Management, or equivalent job-related experience.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, management consulting, financial operations, cloud cost management, or a related field.
- Proven experience analyzing large data sets and using related tools such as Numbers, Excel, and Tableau.
- Ability to articulate and translate business requirements into system and process solutions.
- Proven experience with system data maintenance and ensuring data integrity.
- Strong analytical skills and a high attention to detail.
- Experience with financial management systems such as SAP or Oracle Financials.
- Experience driving cost optimization initiatives, particularly in cloud environments.
- Demonstrated experience in cloud cost management platforms.
- High attention to detail, organized, and motivated self-starter.
Responsibilities
- Manage capital expenditures and report on operating expenses.
- Drive third-party cloud cost management and optimization programs.
- Identify opportunities and implement solutions to enhance financial efficiency.
- Contribute to the improvement of operational tools by providing feedback and managing enhancement requests.
- Communicate findings and provide recommendations to influence decision-making.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure tooling meets business needs.
- Support and communicate across multi-functional teams.
- Build solid working relationships through active listening and delivering promised results.
