Apple is seeking an experienced AC-DC Adapter Design Engineer to develop high-density offline power supplies for portable products. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with a minimum of 10 years of industry experience.
- Experience with AC/DC power conversion topologies such as flyback, resonant converter, and PFC design.
- Strong foundation in semiconductor and power electronics fundamentals.
- Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with 5 years of relevant working experience is preferred.
- Experience in high-volume adapter development and familiarity with manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead designs from early concept exploration through mass production.
- Work hands-on with simulations, prototypes, and validation in the lab.
- Collaborate closely with mechanical, thermal, reliability, and manufacturing teams.
- Deliver compact, efficient, and robust power solutions that meet demanding design goals.
- Take full ownership of design from first principles to factory ramp.
