Job description
The Electrical Engineer role within Apple's Data Collection System team focuses on developing high-performance hardware systems that support Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Photography applications. Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 10 years of proven experience.
- Electronics experience in processor peripheral interfaces such as PCIe, USB, I2C, SPI, and power supply design.
- Strong working knowledge of Signal and Power Integrity and protocols for PCB layout and construction.
- Experience with lab equipment, including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multi-meters.
- Familiarity with SOCs, microcontrollers, microprocessors (ARM), FPGAs, and camera electrical protocols.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware and software teams to define prototype hardware.
- Lead deliverables to align with project goals while ensuring thorough documentation.
- Take designs from concept through manufacturing and testing.
- Perform mechanical assembly for quick prototypes and bring-up/debug validation of digital designs.
