Job description
Apple is seeking a Wireless System Engineer to join their silicon design group. This role involves system integration, designing radio calibration algorithms, chip bringup, and characterizing advanced wireless SoC products. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Hands-on experience with chip bringup and tuning wireless transmitter or receiver chains.
- Familiarity with calibration algorithms.
- Basic understanding of communication theory, DSP, OFDM systems, and radio architectures.
- Experience with Python, Matlab, and/or C/C++ implementation.
- Good understanding of signal processing algorithms.
- Knowledge of wireless communication protocols like IEEE 802.11 standards or LTE.
- Experience designing algorithms for calibration and digital pre-distortion techniques.
- Hands-on experience using wireless test lab equipment.
- Excellent analytical and debugging skills.
- Experience building test automation and verification flows with scripting languages.
