Job description

Join a talented team of UI-focused engineers at Apple to develop software that enhances customer purchasing decisions in retail locations. The marketing platforms and services organization is responsible for creating iconic brand apps and experiences for users both online and in stores. This role involves utilizing the latest technologies and internal tools to support innovative products and ecosystems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-end development and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience with front end web development including JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience with ReactJS, TypeScript, and Redux.
  • Working knowledge of source version control software such as Git and GitHub.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent job-related experience.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with content management tools such as Adobe Experience Manager or WordPress.
  • Knowledge or hobby experience with Swift/SwiftUI.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage software that assists Apple customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with UX, visual designers, and project managers.
  • Take initiative to solve problems and improve processes.
  • Support the development of marketing platforms and services for retail and online experiences.

Benefits

  • Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life. Families typically receive fertility support, paid parental leave with gradual return, caregiving leave, and dependent-care guidance, while financial perks commonly include stock grants (with purchase discounts), 401(k) matching, and income-protection coverage. Employees also see robust time off, Apple University learning and tuition reimbursement, donation matching and paid volunteer hours, and deep product and partner discounts.
