  • B.S. in Computer Science or related field.
  • Deep hands-on software development expertise with Java or Kotlin and Spring.
  • Proven development and operational experience with high-volume REST and/or gRPC services.
  • Strong experience designing for containerization and orchestration, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Significant time spent architecting, building, and operating cloud-native applications with resilience and failover features.

  • Extensive experience with observability strategies and tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Deep understanding of modern networking and experience using traffic tools for tracing and debugging.
  • A fundamental appreciation for security, privacy, and cryptography.
  • Hands-on experience optimizing SQL/NoSQL databases for scale.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, build, test, deliver, and maintenance of exceptional software solutions.
  • Shape the architecture and design of platforms and offerings through deep operational experience.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences, including global teams.
  • Build and sustain healthy long-term relationships and technical influence within and beyond the team.
  • Drive creative solutions and take full ownership of software solutions.
  • Participate in all phases of the product and software development lifecycle.

Benefits

  • Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life. Families typically receive fertility support, paid parental leave with gradual return, caregiving leave, and dependent-care guidance, while financial perks commonly include stock grants (with purchase discounts), 401(k) matching, and income-protection coverage.
