Job description

This role involves working as a CAD engineer at Apple, focusing on the development of software for advanced silicon design. Requirements

  • Minimum requirement of a BS degree and 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience in SPICE simulation and design environment for Analog/RF circuit domains.
  • Programming/scripting skills in Perl, Python, SKILL language, or Shell.
  • Domain experience in circuit simulations with Analog/RFIC design and related CAD/automation support.
  • Knowledge of Cadence ADE environment and Virtuoso tools.

Responsibilities

  • Solve issues related to transistor level simulations on Analog, RF, and Microwave applications.
  • Guide and assist designers in resolving tool issues related to Analog Design Environment.
  • Contribute to methodology on SPICE simulation and modeling techniques.
  • Develop next generation in-house EDA CAD flow solutions for Analog and Mixed-signal simulations.
  • Collaborate with layout design, technology, and third-party EDA tool vendors.
