Job description
The SerDes System Validation Engineer will lead the system validation of mixed-signal SerDes IP within a dynamic Analog-Mixed/Signal design team. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure the successful validation and debugging of embedded circuits. The engineer will focus on system bring-up, verifying operations, and analyzing robustness in a system environment. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Strong background in high-speed serial links.
- Experience with common high-speed SerDes protocols such as PCIe, USB, and UCIe.
- Knowledge of system-level considerations including ESD requirements.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, C, or Matlab for automation.
Responsibilities
- Own the SerDes system bring-up, validation, and debugging processes.
- Work with design teams to understand architecture and define DFT needs.
- Engage in mixed-signal verification tasks to comprehend SerDes operation.
- Lead mixed-signal SerDes system validation efforts.
- Conduct silicon bring-up, debug, and production ramp activities.
