Job description

The SAP Retail Payments Functional Analyst position at Apple is a key role within the corporate Information Systems and Technology SAP team. This position focuses on SAP Retail applications and requires strong SAP IS Retail, SAP R/3, and S/4 business process experience. The successful candidate will work closely with both business and technical teams across various regions and external partners. This role demands excellent communication skills and the ability to manage complex projects in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • 5 years hands-on functional design and configuration experience, including detailed specifications for user exits, utilities, interfaces, and reports.
  • 5 years of experience in SD functionality throughout the order to cash process, including billing and integration with FI/CO.
  • 5 years of experience in payments processing, including credit cards, loans, wire transfers, and mobile payments.
  • BS or MS degree in Business or Technology or equivalent years of work experience.
  • Experience or exposure to SAP FI and SD integration and configuration within ECC and SAP IS Retail.
  • Experience with implementing Web Based applications using SAP Portal landscape.
  • SOH or S/4 HANA experience is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Point of Sale, Data Warehouse, ABAP, Basis, and other teams during the design and implementation of SAP Retail functionalities.
  • Support the business during requirements gathering to understand project needs.
  • Create and manage the project plan, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Drive functional and technical gap analysis and ensure adherence to global design principles.
  • Manage cutover and implementation activities across multiple teams, both business and technical.
  • Track issues and manage the scope of changes during warranty support to ensure a successful handover to the production support team.
  • Ensure adequate test cycles are defined and executed to support a smooth production launch.
