Job description
The Ads ML Experimentation team at Apple is seeking a full-stack ML Engineer to enhance the advertising systems that connect users to content. This role focuses on creating intuitive user interfaces that simplify complex statistical concepts and machine learning workflows. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective application development while adhering to Apple's privacy standards. The position emphasizes user experience and aims to make advanced experimentation and AI accessible across the Apple Ads ecosystem.
Requirements
- 3+ years of full-stack development with a strong frontend focus using React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript.
- Experience designing and implementing intuitive, responsive user interfaces with data visualization libraries.
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms for optimization.
- Experience building and deploying RAG Machine Learning models to production using data processing tools.
- Proficiency with database design and database languages (SQL) to build applications.
- Experience with alerting and observability tools (DataDog, Splunk) to monitor production systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a curious business attitude.
- Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math or related field.
Responsibilities
- Design and build the next generation experimentation platform for the Apple Ads ecosystem.
- Transform complex ML workflows into intuitive web applications.
- Introduce AI-powered insights through seamless user interfaces.
- Develop workflows from model training to A/B testing and evaluation.
- Conduct user research and iterate on designs based on real feedback.
- Measure success through user adoption and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate complex interdependencies in application development.
