Job description

The Find My team is seeking a Software Developer in Test to enhance the user experience by ensuring the quality of APIs and backend services. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will collaborate with a passionate team to deliver reliable solutions that impact millions of users. A strong focus on innovation and problem-solving is essential as the team continuously improves its processes and technologies.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Automation
  • Programming experience in Java, Python, or JavaScript
  • Experience with test automation frameworks for API testing and backend services
  • Experience working with Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Watch, etc.)
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Familiarity with Docker and microservices architecture
  • Security testing knowledge, including API security best practices

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks to validate APIs and backend services
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Create and maintain test documentation and test cases
  • Analyze server logs and debug backend issues with query parameters
  • Report bugs with outstanding isolation and regression techniques
  • Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to understand requirements
  • Build and enhance API automation frameworks from scratch
