Job description
The role is focused on joining Apple's Emulation team, which is dedicated to the creation, deployment, and support of advanced emulation environments. As a member of the Emulation Verification team, you will utilize emulation for the verification of large Wireless SoCs and work with cutting-edge technology on the Palladium platform. This position involves collaborating with various disciplines in a highly visible chip design effort. You will play a key role in porting designs and executing detailed emulation test plans.
Requirements
- BS degree and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience.
- Experience with System Verilog, Verilog or UVM.
- Experience in creating test benches from scratch for both Block and System Level.
- Experience in Regression Management and Triaging.
- Experience with bring up, debugging and verification in Emulation.
- Understanding of the tool flow from RTL to Emulation.
- Good understanding of any Standard Emulator (Palladium, Veloce, Zebu) or FPGA (Xilinx, Altera) flow.
- Proven Design Verification or Silicon Validation skills.
- Experience in writing Synthesize-able SystemVerilog/Verilog code and SystemVerilog assertions.
- Experience with System Verilog verification environments including C/C++ DPI and UVM.
- Experience with any Scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or TCL.
- Excellent analytical and debug skills.
- Hands-on usage of Low Power methodologies, preferably UPF based.
- Experience in UVM Acceleration.
