Job description

As an engineer on the watchOS Media team, you will be responsible for developing the future of various media applications on watchOS, including Music, Podcasts, and TV Remote apps. The team focuses on creating and maintaining frameworks that enhance media experiences on the Apple Watch and ensure seamless integration with other Apple devices. Your role will involve contributing to the design, development, and testing of software that reaches millions of users. You will also work collaboratively within a cross-functional team to bring innovative media experiences to life.

Requirements

  • 8 years of related experience
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Expertise developing in Objective-C or Swift
  • Proven experience contributing to at least one application or framework
  • A deep commitment to product quality and fantastic attention to detail
  • Experience optimizing applications and profiling throughout the stack
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills
  • A strong intuition for UI/UX design
  • An interest in building consumer-facing applications in the media space
