Job description
The IS&T organization at Apple is seeking an experienced full stack developer to join its Legal and Global Security Solutions Team. This role involves working with a talented group of software engineers and product managers to create scalable and secure solutions for Apple's legal, security, and compliance functions. The position requires ownership of complex projects and mentoring other engineers. The team is responsible for critical tools and services that ensure compliance and protect Apple's assets.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software development experience in Java with proficiency in Unix operating system
- Proven experience in both frontend (React, Angular JS, Vue, or equivalent) and backend development
- Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining large-scale software systems
- Hands-on experience with relational and non-relational databases
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
- Familiarity with AI/ML algorithms and frameworks
- Solid understanding of key software architecture principles including load-balancing and security
- Knowledge of cloud data warehousing platforms such as Snowflake
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP and CI/CD tools
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain critical tools and services for legal, compliance, and security requirements at Apple
- Own the full software engineering lifecycle for various solutions from development to production support
- Drive complex projects while unblocking and mentoring other engineers
- Develop key compliance and crisis management tools to protect Apple's assets and regulatory obligations
- Integrate AI/ML concepts into software design and implementation
