Job description
The Apple Ads PMO team is seeking a software engineer to design and develop scalable systems for the ads engineering organization. This role focuses on supporting fiscal planning, headcount strategy, and vendor management while building frameworks and dashboards for VP-level decision-making. The ideal candidate will thrive in an Agile environment and contribute to improving operational efficiency. Success in this position involves delivering a scalable Program Portfolio Management system and becoming a trusted technical partner to the PMO team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in designing and maintaining full-stack web applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree/experience.
- Strong coding skills in Java, Node.js, and React, with backend data store experience in PostgreSQL and Redis.
- Experience building and maintaining dashboards and backend data processing pipelines.
- Strong Infrastructure and DevOps containerization experience with Docker.
- Experience building integrations with large language model (LLM) APIs.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable systems for program and portfolio management.
- Partner with EPMs, finance analysts, product, and engineers to implement solutions and tools.
- Build dashboards and tools that provide real-time insight into spend, staffing, and operational health.
- Continuously improve processes to increase predictability and efficiency in planning and tracking work.
