The role involves working closely with various engineering teams to define and develop optimized hardware products. The ideal candidate will have a strong product and customer focus, as well as experience guiding complex programs through the development process. This position requires the ability to make critical product decisions based on technical tradeoffs and customer experience.
Requirements

- 5+ years of project management experience.
- Strong technical background in Electrical, Mechanical, or Software Engineering.
- Education in BS/MS CE/EE/ME or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with camera systems, display and optics technologies, and/or wearable consumer electronics.
Responsibilities
- Drive the development of system requirements based on experience targets and technology constraints.
- Identify critical questions and organize teams to find efficient answers.
- Understand the link between technical decisions for the system and customer experience and communicate impacts clearly.
- Plan and execute development in advanced consumer electronics products, including prototype build events.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with vendors and contract manufacturing partners to establish build plans.
Benefits
- Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life. Families typically receive fertility support, paid parental leave with gradual return, caregiving leave, and dependent-care guidance, while financial perks commonly include stock grants (with purchase discounts), 401(k) matching, and income-protection coverage. Employees also see robust time off, Apple University learning and tuition reimbursement, donation matching and paid volunteer hours, and deep product and partner discounts.
