Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 5+ years of experience in embedded software, systems engineering, or technical partner engineering roles.
- Strong foundation in embedded systems engineering, including hardware-software integration.
- Hands-on experience with Thread, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) radio technologies.
- Proficiency in protocol analysis tools, packet sniffers, and log analysis workflows.
- Familiarity with the Matter protocol is strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of IoT architectures, device lifecycle, and real-world connectivity challenges.
- Experience in smart home or IoT ecosystems is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical authority for partner integrations.
- Analyze interactions across hardware, firmware, networking stacks, and cloud interfaces.
- Diagnose connectivity, performance, and interoperability issues.
- Evaluate implementations and recommend scalable solutions aligned with Apple's standards.
- Independently drive technical workstreams and manage complex issue backlogs.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance on architecture and system design.
- Collaborate closely with internal engineering teams to resolve platform-level issues.
- Engage at a low-level technical depth with partner engineering teams.
