Job description

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- 5-10+ years of hands-on, consumer electronics product design experience
- Strong mechanical engineering analytical skills with experience in material selection and manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in 3D CAD, preferably NX
- Experience in practical application of GD&T techniques and creating 2D drawings
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Detail oriented and capable of handling multiple assignments simultaneously
Responsibilities
- Own the mechanical design of parts, assemblies, and modules within Apple Vision products
- Engage in multi-disciplinary collaboration with teams such as Industrial Design and Project Management
- Conduct analysis, assembly, and reliability assessments of mechanical components
- Lead teams through the product development cycle from concept to production
- Work with external manufacturing vendors to ensure design feasibility and quality
- Perform tolerance analyses using statistical techniques and interpret FEA results
