Apple's RF Systems Engineering team is seeking a passionate individual to enhance multi-radio coexistence performance across various wireless technologies. This role involves hands-on hardware engineering and collaboration with RF Test Engineers and chipset teams. The successful candidate will assess and resolve coexistence challenges throughout the product development process. • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with 10+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with at least one radio technology: Cellular, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Thread, NFC, or UWB.
• Knowledge of RF component characteristics and proficiency with lab equipment including spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes.
• Knowledge of wireless architectures including front-end design, antenna sharing, and link budget line-up.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid understanding of fundamental antenna theory.
• Master's degree in electrical engineering with 10+ years of relevant work experience.
• Proven understanding of RF hardware and best practices for system-level grounding, shielding, isolation, and electromagnetic interference mitigation.
• Experience in performing hands-on disassembly and system-level debug at the module, reference board, or system level.
• Experience in debugging and optimizing conducted or radiated radio systems.
• Experience in antenna design and EM simulation.
