Job description

Apple is looking for an experienced Analog/Mixed-signal IP Design Engineering Lead to drive the development of high-speed Analog and Mixed-signal IPs for System-on-Chips (SoCs). This role involves collaboration with various cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and success of the IPs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a fast-paced environment and will play a critical role in delivering innovative Apple products. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Computer Engineering
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in Analog/Mixed-signal IP design
  • Proven experience building high-speed Analog and Mixed-signal IPs, such as Data converters, PLLs, and SerDes IPs
  • Experience in Analog-mixed-signal (AMS) IP design or design engineering management in the AMS space
  • Desirable experience in wireless standards such as LTE, WiFi, 5G, and memory interfaces like DDR
  • Strong leadership ability to lead technical teams and multi-functional groups
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
  • Advanced knowledge of the IP development process, tools, methodologies, and life cycle in an SoC environment
  • Experience working on the latest technology nodes

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development of high-speed Analog and Mixed-signal IPs from concept to mass production
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including SoC Integration, Technology/Library, SoC Design, and others
  • Ensure the quality, schedule, and success of the IPs
  • Lead technical teams and coordinate with vendors against project plans
  • Contribute to the successful delivery of IPs that enhance Apple's technology and product offerings
