JobsiPad Touch Electrical Engineer
Job description
The Apple Advanced Technologies Group is seeking a motivated electrical engineer to design next-generation touch sensors. The team focuses on delivering world-class user experiences through the integration of high-precision, low-latency multi-touch and stylus sensors. Engineers will tackle complex multi-disciplinary problems in areas such as circuit analysis, electro-magnetics, and algorithm development. This role requires creativity and strong electrical engineering fundamentals to drive innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Ph.D or Master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
- BS and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience
- Strong analog, mixed-signal, and electro-magnetic fundamentals
- Proficiency in FEA tools such as Comsol, ANSYS, or Maxwell
- Experience with MATLAB, Python, SPICE, or similar simulation tools
- Hands-on experience with system-level design
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid teamwork and leadership skills
Responsibilities
- Own the design and implementation of touch sensors
- Build models to understand key tradeoffs in sensor design
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver sensor module solutions
- Drive the integration of touch sensors across several product lines
- Solve complex multi-disciplinary problems related to sensor technology
