Job description

As a Traffic Engineer at Apple, you will design and develop advanced traffic proxies, libraries, and services that support Apple services on a massive scale. Your work will enhance the network stack for improved functionality and performance, serving hundreds of millions of users globally. Requirements

  • Skilled with one or more advanced programming languages such as C, C++, Rust, Java, Go, or native code languages.
  • Experience with automating operations at scale, including software deployments and configuration changes.
  • Understanding of performance analysis and optimizations.
  • General knowledge of large scale distributed systems.
  • Professional expertise in Traffic/Edge Engineering or Cloud Networking.
  • Proven expertise with the Linux network stack.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Chef, or Puppet.
  • Experience with core production engineering best practices.
