• BS in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience working with large data sets and dimensional data modeling
• 10+ years of experience with data processing using Spark and SparkSQL
• Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools
• Expertise in Java or Scala, and experience with Python
• Experience with Amazon Web Services, GCP, or Azure
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with open table formats such as Delta Lake or Apache Iceberg
• Experience with Spark on Kubernetes
• Experience with data quality monitoring and anomaly detection
• Familiarity with BI/visualization tools such as Superset
• Familiarity with privacy-preserving data engineering techniques
• Experience with machine learning applied to the domain of data engineering and analytics

• Translate analytics needs from Data Science, Engineering, Product, and Program Management into high-quality data artifacts.
• Develop methods to monitor data quality and balance competing priorities.
• Dive deep into complex data engineering problems to ensure solutions are extensible and reliable.
• Design and build analytics pipelines behind new features.
• Collaborate closely with a cross-functional team to deliver exceptional user experiences.
