Job description

Arcadis is seeking an Environmental Due Diligence (EDD) Practitioner to support national and regional EDD projects and programs, focusing on site evaluation, research, and report writing. The role involves both field and office work, with a significant portion of time spent in the field. As part of the Resilience Environment team, the practitioner will collaborate with the EDD Community of Practice to enhance technical assessment and writing skills. The position aims to produce high-quality work products in accordance with ASTM standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a closely related field.
  • Strong technical writing skills.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and associated projects.
  • Perform site visits at various facilities and conduct interviews with property representatives and government agencies.
  • Document field observations, interview details, and photographic evidence clearly.
  • Review historical records and environmental database listings to summarize key information.
  • Prepare technical reports and graphical representations for Phase I ESA reports.
  • Provide input regarding potential environmental risks and evaluation approaches.
