Job description

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant STEM field is required.
  • Prior Senior or Lead Engineer equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area is required.

  • Familiarity with 48V electrical systems is a plus.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills are necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Drive robust hardware design and validation through disciplined application of analysis and requirements assessment.
  • Deliver high-quality prototype hardware by collaborating closely with suppliers and engineering teams.
  • Influence critical design decisions that impact cost, functionality, manufacturability, and delivery timelines.
  • Lead components and smaller projects independently, navigating ambiguity and owning outcomes end-to-end.
  • Improve hardware development processes and tools by leading enhancements within the discipline.
  • Act as a technical leader and specialist, coordinating technicians and transferring knowledge.
