StubHub is seeking Senior Software Engineers to design and develop next-generation technologies that enhance the live event experience for millions of users. The Supply team focuses on simplifying the lives of large-ticket sellers by streamlining inventory management and reducing operational overhead. This role requires a balance of technical expertise and commercial judgment, with an emphasis on mentoring team members and fostering an inclusive culture. Successful candidates will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality software solutions that have a significant business impact.

• 5-6+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Extensive experience developing robust, mission-critical systems using multiple general-purpose programming languages such as Java and C#.
• Demonstrated expertise in building software with one or more of the following: Infrastructure, Databases, Data Processing, Machine Learning, Distributed Systems, Security, and Privacy.
• Previous experience designing and developing solutions to complex problems with significant business impact.
• A strong understanding of how systems interact with the broader production environment, including dependencies and platform primitives.
• Proven ability to learn other coding languages, platforms, frameworks, and tools.
• Experience owning projects from the initial idea all the way to production.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers.

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain impactful improvements for backend code across all StubHub’s platforms and products.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure best practices across the codebase.
• Manage individual initiative priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with technical expertise.
• Mentor other team members and help increase their technical capabilities.
