The North America Geothermal Project Engineer role at Jacobs focuses on supporting the Energy & Power team in addressing the complexities of decarbonization and delivering a cleaner energy future. Travel will be necessary to fulfill project requirements and client engagements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in geothermal power plant engineering
- Proven ability to engage with clients and develop relationships
- Demonstrated skills in design optimization programs
- Experience with various types of geothermal power generation
- Experience in all aspects of project development and delivery
Responsibilities
- Promote Jacobs’ North America Geothermal team capabilities among personal client networks
- Support proposal development with task descriptions and manhour estimates
- Provide advisory and design solutions for geothermal project development
- Collaborate with Technical Leadership, Operations, and Client Account Managers
- Support global geothermal engineering teams on projects requiring power plant expertise
- Mentor Jacobs power plant engineers in geothermal design nuances
