Job description
Jacobs is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern to join their Bridges team in Corvallis, Oregon for Summer 2026. The intern will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and gain practical experience in structural design and analysis, particularly focusing on bridges and infrastructure projects. Requirements
- In pursuit of a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering and/or Structural Engineering
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship
Responsibilities
- Perform evaluations of structures of various degrees of complexity
- Prepare plans, designs, calculations, and cost estimates under the supervision of experienced engineers
- Contribute to the preparation of engineering drawings, calculations/designs, specifications, and reports
- Participate in project meetings and communicate with clients under supervision
- Collaborate with senior engineers and other team members on project tasks
