The Structural Engineering Professional will be a key member of the design team, responsible for performing structural analysis and design for various projects. Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering
- Professional Engineer License (PE or PEng)
- At least 10 years of Structural Engineering experience
- Experience with US building codes, including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC
- Experience with Structural Engineering analysis software, Navisworks, and Bluebeam
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Perform all conventional aspects of Structural Engineering analysis and design under general supervision.
- Plan and conduct work requiring judgment in the evaluation and selection of engineering techniques.
- Exhibit a high level of attention to detail and quality control by checking own work and that of peers.
- Manage workload effectively, meeting schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to designers and less experienced engineers.
- Embrace emerging technologies and advance workflows within the structural discipline.
