The OT/ICS Cybersecurity Engineer – Mid role at Jacobs focuses on securing operational technology systems within managed services. You will work with a team of cybersecurity professionals to support ongoing operational cybersecurity activities and contribute to design and assessment efforts. This position involves protecting industrial systems from cyber threats and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards. You will play a key role in integrating cybersecurity solutions into large infrastructure programs.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in OT/ICS security with a focus on operational technology environments.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including routing, switching, and firewall policy management.
- Hands-on experience with system administration including Active Directory and virtualization platforms.
- Familiarity with IEC-62443 and other industrial cybersecurity standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform ongoing operations and maintenance activities for OT cybersecurity environments.
- Support change management processes for OT cybersecurity systems.
- Monitor and triage alerts from OT security tools to improve detection fidelity.
- Provide break-fix support and troubleshooting for OT cybersecurity infrastructure.
- Support cybersecurity design of OT networks through compliance with security standards.
