Job description
The Radio Integration Engineer will be a key member of the wireless RFIC team, responsible for architecting, implementing, and verifying analog megacells for integration into complex wireless SoCs. This role focuses on transforming improved hardware elements into a single, integrated design that enhances user experience across Apple products. The engineer will collaborate with various product development groups to innovate new wireless technologies. The position requires extensive experience in RF and mixed signal circuit design, particularly in advanced CMOS technology nodes.
Requirements
- BS degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
- MSEE with relevant industry experience in RF and mixed signal circuit design.
- Familiarity with integration flows and challenges in analog circuits following digital-on-top flow.
- Direct tape out experience with wireless receivers, transmitters, ADCs, DACs, PLLs, and custom digital circuits.
- Experience in timing analysis of analog to digital interfaces and familiarity with STA tools like Nanotime and Primetime.
- Working knowledge of digital tools for RTL, FE-STA, PnR, and PTPX flows.
- Experience with modeling, coding, and design verification flow tools and methodologies such as Verilog, Verilog-AMS, MATLAB, and Python is a plus.
- Direct experience with wireless SoC products is highly desirable.
