Job description

The Product Analytics and Compliance Engineering (PACE) organization at Apple is seeking an experienced Business Operations Program Manager. This role focuses on ensuring effective resource planning, budget management, and operational systems within a complex product development environment. The individual will collaborate closely with various teams, including engineering, finance, and operations, to drive process excellence and operational rigor. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in AI/ML to enhance productivity and efficiencies across the organization.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Engineering or a Technical degree
  • 3+ years of experience in business operations, program management, or a related function within a hardware product development environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Apple New Product Process (ANPP)
  • Experience with budget management, resource planning, and operational reporting
  • Strong understanding of Apple's product development lifecycle
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams with competing priorities
  • Analytical mindset with experience using data to inform decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative working style with a track record of building trust
  • Postgraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in business operations or program management
  • Experience with regulatory processes and compliance management
  • Demonstrated executive presence with comfort presenting to VP-level stakeholders
  • Cross-functional leadership experience

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with engineering, finance, supply chain, and leadership to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage budgets and drive tooling strategy for operational systems.
  • Coordinate factory planning and oversee claims reporting.
  • Synthesize ambiguous cross-functional inputs to move the organization forward.
  • Build and maintain tools, dashboards, and systems that scale with organizational growth.
  • Translate emerging AI/ML capabilities into actionable operational improvements.
  • Present complex operational topics clearly to executives.
