• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in building scalable backend systems for machine learning
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Go
• Strong expertise in distributed systems, reliability, and scalability
• Experience with cloud computing and data processing tools like Kubernetes, Ray, Beam, and Flink
• Ability to communicate technical problems clearly and concisely
• Experience with accelerators like GPU, TPU, and AWS Trainium
• Familiarity with ML training and deployment frameworks such as JAX, Tensorflow, PyTorch, TensorRT, and vLLM

• Scope, architect, and deliver innovative high-quality solutions
• Effectively communicate complex features and systems in detail
• Collaborate with teams across Apple on ML workloads such as training, inferencing, and fine tuning
