The Beats Product Design team is looking for a product design engineer to innovate and develop new products that enhance their leading portfolio. This role involves collaboration with various teams at Apple, including Industrial Design and Electrical Engineering, to define product objectives and validate designs. The engineer will focus on creating mechanical design solutions while ensuring a strong customer experience. The position requires a blend of creativity and technical expertise in a fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 3D CAD expertise
• A minimum of 2 years of product design experience or equivalent
• Experience in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA)
• Ability to travel internationally up to 20%
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is preferred
• Hands-on experience in consumer electronic product design in a high-volume production environment
• Direct experience with audio products or complex wearable devices
• Familiarity with NX, TeamCenter, or Agile
• Experience designing for various materials and processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
