Job description
The Wireless System Engineer at Apple will be part of a dynamic Wireless Connectivity team focused on integrating and tuning physical layer/RF systems for next-generation wireless SoCs. This role involves collaboration across various disciplines to ensure seamless integration and optimal wireless performance. The engineer will work from the pre-silicon stage to product launch, contributing to products that enhance the lives of millions of customers. A strong background in wireless system design and signal processing is essential for success in this position.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience.
- Hands-on experience in wireless system design, integration, or bring-up.
- Strong fundamentals in signal processing, communication theory, and OFDM systems.
- Preferred MSEE or PhD with 3+ years relevant industry experience.
- Knowledge of wireless communication protocols such as 802.11 and LTE.
Responsibilities
- Integrate, bring-up, and tune physical layer/RF systems for wireless SoCs.
- Collaborate with PHY algorithms, RF design, digital, MAC, and firmware teams.
- Ensure best-in-class wireless performance through seamless integration.
- Utilize lab equipment such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
- Develop automation infrastructure for traceability and repeatability.
