This role accommodates candidates from entry-level to senior professionals, focusing on seamless electrical integration across the vehicle platform. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to define electrical requirements and ensure the successful lifecycle management of EDS components. A passion for the outdoors and a commitment to sustainability are key attributes for this position.

Requirements

  • For Senior-Level: Proven track record of releasing production-level harnesses and supplier management experience.
  • For Associate-Level: Strong electromechanical integration background and hands-on harness experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and release of vehicle wiring harnesses and related components.
  • Manage the lifecycle of EDS components, including initial packaging, design, and manufacturing hand-off.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define electrical requirements and routing paths.
  • Communicate performance test requirements to suppliers and track testing status.
  • Ensure completion of component and vehicle-level tests before part warrant issuance.
  • Interface with suppliers to ensure design for manufacturability and on-time delivery.
  • Execute Engineering Change Requests and maintain accurate Bills of Materials.
  • Support Rivian Vehicle Assembly and Tier1 builds, providing on-site support for rapid design and rework.

Benefits

  • Employees at Rivian are often offered comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) with company match, ESPP and potential RSU grants, performance bonuses, and generous time off including paid parental and sick leave. Perks can include 24/7 mental-health coaching and therapy, Hinge Health for Anthem enrollees, tuition assistance and professional development, plus on-site food and a wide range of employee discounts on items like computers, mobile phones, home loans, and pet care.
