Job description

The QA Automation Engineer at Goldman Sachs will be part of a dynamic engineering team focused on designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for critical financial applications. Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on test automation.
  • Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language such as Java, Python, or C#.
  • Extensive experience with test automation frameworks and tools like Selenium, Cypress, or JUnit.
  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, implement, and enhance scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks using industry-standard tools.
  • Develop comprehensive automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
  • Embed automated tests into continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines to enable rapid feedback.
  • Work closely with software engineers to understand application architecture and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Accurately identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating with development teams for timely resolution.
