Job description

The Cybersecurity and Client Engagement Risk Associate position in Asset and Wealth Management focuses on engaging institutional clients and supporting compliance activities. This role involves assessing and negotiating tech risk commitments while collaborating with various teams across the firm. The associate will participate in addressing technical and business cyber activities, ensuring a robust information security posture. Additionally, the role emphasizes the integration of AI and ML to enhance due diligence and compliance processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum two years of experience as an Information Security professional or a background in Computer Engineering with cyber risk operational experience.
  • Hands-on experience with security controls and configurations across diverse IT platforms, including web applications and cloud services.
  • Familiarity with leading security standards and frameworks such as NIST, OWASP, and PCI DSS.
  • Deep understanding of security principles across various architectures, including threat modeling and secure development lifecycles.
  • Ability to communicate complex cybersecurity concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage with institutional clients to address their security and compliance inquiries.
  • Execute comprehensive vendor due diligence processes to assess third-party information security risks.
  • Participate in and drive resolution of complex technical and business cyber activities.
  • Partner in the integration of AI and ML to automate due diligence and contract engagements.
  • Research and evaluate emerging global client trends to advise on risk mitigation strategies.
