Job description

The Vice President Software Engineer role within the CF&O Shared Services Engineering team focuses on enhancing workflow efficiencies and automating financial metrics. This team supports compliance, risk, and treasury objectives by developing scalable and reliable software solutions. The successful candidate will be passionate about digital transformation and data management, addressing challenges in data modeling and curation. The role requires collaboration with business partners to understand needs and implement effective solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in software development
  • Strong programming experience in at least one compiled language such as Java or C++
  • Full Stack experience with industry standard frameworks and tools
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with exposure to all areas of Finance
  • Build strong relationships with business partners to understand their needs
  • Develop technical specifications and implementation plans from business requirements
  • Manage the end-to-end systems development cycle including requirements analysis and testing
  • Explore new and emerging technologies as needed by the project
