The Analyst role at Goldman Sachs Family Office involves working closely with Private Wealth Advisors to deliver investment reporting solutions and support business development initiatives. This position requires a client-friendly individual with a background in wealth management or family office services. The Analyst will serve as a day-to-day contact for clients and PWA teams, ensuring high-quality service delivery. The role emphasizes building trust, managing client relationships, and collaborating on tailored solutions to meet complex client challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant industry experience in a client-facing role, preferably in family office or wealth management.
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees.
- Understanding of financial and performance reporting within wealth management.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional multi-tasking ability.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think clearly under pressure.
- Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 & Series 63 exams must be obtained within the first 3 months of employment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the day-to-day contact for the delivery of investment reporting solutions.
- Identify areas of opportunity and highlight best practices to ensure high-quality services.
- Partner with PWM teams to manage the client lifecycle throughout their relationship.
- Act as the in-house subject matter expert for sophisticated investment reporting.
- Collaborate with Product Management on new product launches for an exceptional client experience.
- Track, resolve, and act on client requests and feedback to drive continuous product improvement.
- Build PWA and client loyalty by understanding client needs and cultivating trusted-advisor relationships.
- Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance service delivery.
