• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
• Experience with month-end close ownership and financial statement preparation
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact across departments
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• CPA or active progress toward CPA strongly preferred

• Lead and own key components of the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Review and analyze financial statements, identifying trends, variances, and actionable insights.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring proper controls and accuracy.
• Prepare and review complex journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Review and approve employee expense reports for compliance and accuracy.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and detailed variance analysis.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Partner with the VP of Finance on strategic initiatives, reporting enhancements, and process improvements.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
• Assist with audits and coordinate with external auditors as needed.
• Drive continuous improvement in accounting systems, processes, and internal controls.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting to support business decisions.
